Book Reviews

As someone who is trying to start in the art of horror literature, this area is near and dear to my heart.  Since I can remember, I have sought out horror books to read, starting with Goosebumps and children's novelizations of popular horror films (wasn't the 80's great!).  When I was eleven years old, a librarian friend of my grandparents convinced them that I would get bored with reading and give it up if they didn't acquiesce to my requests to pick out of the more mature sections of the library.  They finally gave in and when I told her that I wanted horror, she led me straight to Stephen King.  Yes, I was eleven when I first read "The Shining" and I have been hooked ever since.  With that in mind, I will be reviewing books as I read them and possibly going back to re-read some that I have loved in the past so that I can share them here with you.  So turn on your reading light, sit back, and prepare for sweet terrors!

    Do you enjoy vampires that make you swoon as your heart beats faster in their presence? Do you desire to find an immortal love who will sparkle in the sun and make you wish you could give up everything just to share all of eternity with them? Then this book is NOT for you!
